Welcome to our empowering “Shoemaking & Leatherworks Training Program”, crafted to equip aspiring artisans with practical skills in leather craftsmanship. This program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and experience needed to either pursue employment or launch their own businesses in the thriving leather industry.
Program Schedule and Highlights
Taking place twice a week on
Tuesdays and Thursdays
from
11:00 am to 3:00 pm
This program combines in-depth learning with hands-on practice.
Each week, one session will focus on “fieldwork and materials market surveys”, allowing participants to gain essential insights into material sourcing, quality evaluation, and industry standards.

Hands-On, Practical Training
Our curriculum emphasizes “practical, hands-on training”. Participants will dive into every stage of shoemaking and leatherwork, from pattern design and leather cutting to assembly and finishing. Following each segment, a “do-it-yourself” approach encourages them to practice independently, building confidence in their craft. A “dedicated question-and-answer segment” will support learning, and each participant will receive a document summarizing the skills acquired for ongoing reference.
Upon completion, trainees will receive a Certificate of Completion, equipping them with a recognized qualification they can present when seeking employment or establishing their own businesses.
